Dr. Stoebner spent his undergraduate studies at University of San Diego, where he played football and completed his bachelor’s degree in biology. He earned his Doctor of Optometry degree from Pacific University’s College of Optometry in Forest Grove, OR. He went on to complete a two year fellowship at Pacific Cataract and Laser Institute in Chehalis, WA, one of the premier eye surgery facilities in the world.
Dr. Stoebner is a Diplomat of the National Board of Examiners in Optometry, a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry and was voted the “Young Doctor of the Year” by the Washington Association of Optometric Physicians in 2001.
Prior to joining Edmonds Eyecare in 2007, Dr. Stoebner was one of the Optometric Physicians at Pacific Cataract and Laser Institute, practiced at Family Eye Doctors in Redmond, WA and was also an FDA co-investigator for the Scanning Excimer Laser Technology LASIK Study.
Dr. Stoebner, his wife, Carolyn, and their son enjoy reading, snowboarding, computer technology, music and participating in a variety of sports together.
