David Ruckman, O.D., received his Doctor of Optometry from Pacific University. He earned his Bachelor of Science with highest honors in Biology after completing undergraduate studies focused on biochemistry, where he completed his thesis and graduated as a Westfall Scholar.
Dr. Ruckman completed clinical internships at the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute before pursuing a residency in ocular disease and surgical co-management. He provides comprehensive eye care with clinical interests in ocular disease management and surgical co-management and is committed to delivering personalized, evidence-based care that helps patients maintain lifelong vision health.
After completing his residency, Dr. Ruckman spent more than a decade practicing in private practice in Nevada before returning to the Pacific Northwest. He enjoys building lasting relationships with patients and providing compassionate care tailored to each individual's visual needs.
